Child Protection Policy

Step 1. Prepare Application Materials

There are a few things that you should have available prior to starting the online application process as you will be given 40 minutes to complete it.

You will need:

  • Your current street address and any previous street addresses within the past 5 years
  • Social security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • 4 references to include phone numbers for each one

The 4 references should include your pastor, previous employer OR another personal that is not a relative, and 2 more personal that are not relatives.

 

Step 2. Worker’s Compliance Agreement & Statement of Faith

CEF Worker’s Compliance Agreement & Statement of Faith 3.0, this form is to be filled out and signed annually by all CEF volunteers and staff.

 

Step 3. “Protecting Today’s Child” Video

CPP video of Protecting Today’s Child is to be viewed annually by all CEF volunteers and staff.

 

Step 4. CEF Online Application & Background Check

The online application form must be completed by all new volunteers and staff in order to participate in the CEF ministry. Every five years this form is to be renewed. If for some reason you step out of the ministry for a complete year the online application must be renewed to once again participate in the CEF ministry.

 

Step 5. Training Schedule

Child Protection Policy Training is a mandatory training class to be attended annually by all CEF ministry volunteers and staff. Please see the schedule of dates and times of training classes offered throughout the year.
